First awareness session in GGSSS no 3 Badarpur

The spurt in incidents of crime against children across India has raised serious concern with 53,874 cases registered in 2021 alone under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act, according to data released by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). As an organization dedicated towards empowering children, we share Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights' concern about growing incidents of violence and crimes against children in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Under the banner of 'Mera Kanoon Mera Dost', Sambhavna CRACR&PD in collaboration with DCPCR would be conducting awareness sessions in government schools, specifically targeting students in Class IX and XI.
Today we conducted the first session in GGSSS no 3 Badarpur with 118 girl students. It was rewarding to note the participation and queries put forth by the young girls.
