Project Hifazat
Building a supportive eco-bubble for Persons with Disability by providing a hub for various assistance to PwDs to enable to live with dignity by way of Society Based Protection mechanism.
Project Hifazat envisages to provide society-based protection mechanism to PwDs which include:

- Connecting PwDs with the governments’ Welfare schemes
- Assist them in getting Disability Certificate
- Assist them in procuring disability UDI Card
- Appointment of Guardian as provided under the provisions of PwD Act,2016
- Counselling of the family of the PwD
- Training to the family and other stakeholders towards detecting early disability
- Counselling and different psychological tests to be applied on the PwD
- ‘A Leap Forward’ competition and winners to be awarded
- Hifazat Mela, Annual.

Proposed Key Activities & Outcomes
The proposed community-based project for persons with disabilities is designed to create an inclusive and supportive environment within the local community. Through extensive engagement with individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and various stakeholders, the project aims to address key areas such as accessibility, education, employment, and social inclusion. This initiative intends to establish disability-friendly spaces, offer customized educational programs, provide skill development opportunities, and collaborate with local businesses to ensure inclusive employment opportunities. The key activities include, Community Mobilization, Creation of ‘One Stop Centre, Hifazat mela. et.al.
By focusing on empowerment and active participation, the project aims to foster a more inclusive community where individuals with disabilities feel supported, valued, and integrated. Continuous evaluation and sustained partnerships will be pivotal in ensuring the project’s long-term impact and promoting an environment that embraces diversity and equality for all community members.
